I got out of my car and waved hello to Brian. He is rents the hangar next to mine at Smartt Airport in St. Charles county. Brian introduced me to Mary, his wife.
Then Brian told me that he had run into my son, David, at Fritz’s Frozen Custard, which is just a couple of miles from my house.
Brian had overheard Bruce, who was also at Fritz’s, asking David about “Art’s plane.” Bruce is David’s uncle.
Brian has known Bruce, and his wife, Heidi, for about 35 years.
Here we are, four families in a community connected by frozen custard and an idle question about an airplane.

I want to hear more about the frozen custard! 😉
