After finishing my St. Louis to New Orleans (STL2NOLA) bicycle tour on Thursday, I took an Amtrak train to Carbondale. Candy picked me up just before lunch on Friday. Today has been a reset day, only my third in 24 days. Whew! A few people asked me last night and today whether my legs are tired. Not at all. But I am ready to not be on-the-go all the time.
I want you to know how much I have appreciated your support, whether it was comments here on my blog or emails or texts. On those long days when I was feeling low or exhausted, reading what you wrote buoyed me up and kept me going. Thank you. I did not have time to reply to each and every comment or email but please know that I did read them all and everything you wrote helped me.
In return, let me share my latest fashion photo with you. I took this leggy shot this morning. Am I ready for the runway in Paris? Or do I need to hike up my bikini a bit more?

If you want a tan like this, let me know. I can tell you how to dress. And you do not even need to keep your AM transistor radio on the right station waiting for the DJ to announce, “Time to turn.”

Oooh…. Sexy!!!
Laughing… thank goodness the tan is not a burn! Enjoy the R&R, so glad I was able to be on this bike tour with you. Riding along on my computer, no tan marks for me!!!!! Glad you are back home, your hug Friday evening felt so good.
Well done 💪🏼
Very authentic tan. You are recognizable as a cyclist.
Mazel Tov! Kol Hakavod!
Art,
The last few weeks have been a busy blur here. I finally had time to sit and read ALL the posts in one sitting. Whew! What an adventure! It was fun “traveling” the roads through your eyes. So glad you safely made it back home. See you soon, friend.
