Have you ever thought about how magic it is that we can save lives by donating blood? The donor loses an hour of time and someone else gets to live. Sweet.
I am particularly lucky because donating blood is easy for me. I do not mind getting stuck with a needle. I do not have any bothersome effects during or after the donation. Best of all, after a 25 year hiatus, the FDA changed their rules so that I am again eligible to donate. Earlier this year, I passed my six gallon milestone.
My next donation appointment is on September 30. Can you donate, too?

I needed 2 transfusions a few years ago. Probably saved me from a heart attack or stroke, from lack of blood. It’s now officially called a tissue transplant.
I donated one pint to pay it back.
Still have one to go
6 gallons is a hero. Thanks
