Since the project is now 3ft longer than expected, maybe quality control should double check the wingspan and the width of the garage door.

I’ve got a neighbor building an RV12 in his basement, and he just finished constructing a cardboard mockup of a wing so he could be sure it would fit up his stairs.
There’s an old story about a fellow who built a boat in his basement. But it wouldn’t fit up the stairs, so he only used it during storms when the basement flooded. I don’t think that approach would work with an airplane.
