My Bede BD-4C airplane kit looks a lot more like an airplane tonight. I have finally mounted the vertical stabilizer to the fuselage.
The front rib, which runs from the top of the fin, downward and forward at an angle, to the middle of the bottom, is bolted to a custom-fit gusset as you can see in this photo.
The rear rib, which runs down the back edge of the fin, bolts to the gusset at the back end of the fuselage.
Next posting… the aileron cable pulleys. Look for that very soon. The work is done but I don’t have time to write it up now.
