Who knew? Apparently there is another kind of elk, the Stealth Elk, which few people have heard of and fewer have seen. Not only is there still a small population in north America but some have even been imported to my home state of Missouri. I have just one question: if there are only 7,500 animals extant, as the Stealth Elk web site claims, why aren’t they protected?
