Scoble rants about RSS feeds that aren’t full text. Rather than being “bad,” I think that the style of RSS feed simply tells you something about the author’s motivation. Does he want the reader to have the information? Or is it more important to get the reader to visit the actual web site and view more of the content (ads or articles)?

I write a blog so I am most interested in getting my words “out there.” But if my blog were supported by ads, I would need to bring visitors to a place where they would see the ads.

I agree with Scoble, full text RSS feeds are much nicer to read. But I don’t think that a teaser-feed is necessarily bad, just informative in a subtle way.
