Cherokee Pilot Chat Links and Images

Folks,

This page includes instructions for posting “fancy stuff” on the Cherokee Pilot Chat bulletin board on the web. You can do just about anything; all it takes is typing.

Here is a link to the CPA home page:

<a href=”http://www.piperowner.com/”>Cherokee Pilot’s Association</a>
Cherokee Pilot’s Association

Note that if you want the hostname itself to appear within the article, you have to explicitly write the link that way. It looks like deja vu all over again all over again but it works.

<a href=”http://www.piperowner.com/”>www.piperowner.com</a>

You can put as many images into a posting as you like by including “img” tags. They look like this:

<img src=”http://www.piperowner.com/Logoart.jpg”>

And if you want to get really clever, you can use an image within a link. It just takes a lot of typing (wink)

If you are still with me, you have qualified for your WINGS certificate in writing HTML, a skill that every armchair pilot needs.

Cheers,
– Art Z.

  1. I will be flying to St. Louis in June for a Viet Nam Helicopter Crew Members reunion. I was going to land at Creve Coure as it seemed closer to the Hotel at Lambert Field. I saw that you were out of St. Charles. My dad worked there at American Car and Foundry in the early ’50s. I was eight years old and walking down the the main street in St. Charles the week Castro took over Cuba. You could by hats with beards attached that said,”El Liberator.” I lived in St. Peters for three years with my first wife, but I’m originally from Overland Missouri, Ritenour High,”Go Huskies!”
    I am very impressed with your web site. It is very organized! Mine spills all over place.
