Oshkosh AirVenture 2006
Jack Hodgson and his friend Phil wrote, Oshkosh is like sex. I can never get all I want but sometimes I get all I can take… and you should shower afterwards. Oh, how true!
I have wanted to attend the Oshkosh AirVenture air show all of my life and I finally made it last week. OK, that isn’t quite true. I did get there in 1975 but my girlfriend was not very interested in airplanes so I did not get to see much of the show. At the time it seemed like a fair trade, though, which shows just how strong an influence hormones can exert.
This time, however, I saw all that I could take. :-) And I took a few pictures.

As the old saying goes, “The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.” To tell the truth, women don’t have nearly as much fun as men do when they get older. Men continue enjoy playing with their cars, trains, airplanes throughout their lives. It’s just that the cars, trains, and airplanes get bigger and more expensive. Glad to hear you had such a good time.
