Weekend o’ Death
This must have been a weekend o’ death, with my laptop dying and Joseph’s venerable “big screen” monitor passing on to the next world. It turns out we both suffer from / relish the symptoms of “dual monitor syndrome.” It sounds like he has a pair of LCD screens while I use the LCD in my new zd8000 notebook plus a 20″ CRT.
I won’t tell you whether the CRT sits on the left or the right of my desk. You can figure it out for yourself by observing which side of my face has a better tan. :-)

I love my two 19 inch Dell FP1905 monitors. I keep Xend on one screen and the
browser on the other when debugging.

I guess I was not sufficiently objective, to realize that it is a syndrome. But a few days trying to blog with just one monitor, and I see that it is. Browser on the left, editor and email client on the right.
I’m beginning to suspect that there is no cure.
